Michael Hoffmann is in his third year working with the GCU men's and women's cross country teams, and the second as the head coach.
Hoffmann guided the program through their first year at the Division I level, which included Western Athletic Conference Runner of the Week honors for Patrick Hardwick and a win for the women's squad at the GCU Invitational.
Hoffmann graduated from Harvard University in 2012, where he competed in cross country and track. He was the captain of Harvard's cross country team for the 2011 season. Hoffmann attended high school at Bloomington High School North, in Bloomington, Ind., where he earned multiple All-State honors and was a Nike All-American.
He currently resides in Scottsdale, Ariz.
