Chris Elliott joined the GCU sports medicine team as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2022.
In his role, Elliott provides athletic training services to the Lopes' men's basketball and men's golf programs.
Prior to GCU, Elliott worked at IMG Academy in 2021-22. Previously, he served as the men's basketball and women's bowling athletic trainer at Stephen F. Austin from 2018 to 2021.
A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Elliott attended Trevecca Nazarene University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science in 2016. While at Stephen F. Austin, he earned a Master's of Science in Athletic Training in 2018. He also holds certifications in CES, dry needling and Graston.
He resides in the Phoenix area with his wife, Molly, and their son, Rocky, who was born March 7, 2024.
