Larry Watkins

Larry Watkins is in his first year at Grand Canyon. He has assisted former teammate, Dan Nichols at all head coaching stops since 1995, recently at South Mountain Community College. His duties included film breakdown, advanced scouting and game planning at South Mountain. He will resume that role at GCU. Watkins was the head JV coach at Maryvale H.S., and assisted the varsity program. Watkins ran track & field at SMCC. He is a category manager for Crescent Crown Distributors. He and his wife, Theresa, have three children and reside in Avondale.
