Jesse Parker enters his first season as Director of Basketball Operations in 2018-19. In his role, Parker serves all aspects of the program including compliance, recruiting, team travel, academic monitoring, practice planning and game preparation.
Parker came to GCU following five seasons in the same position for Utah State, where he spent the last three years working with first-year Lopes associate head coach Louis Wilson. With the Aggies, Parker handled similar operations duties while also coordinating the annual Utah State summer basketball camps.
Parker, a native of Kamas, Utah, was the Aggies’ team manager for four seasons (2009-13), handling practice setup, equipment, uniforms and game-day responsibilities. While at Utah State, the Aggies won WAC titles and reached the NCAA tournament in 2010 and 2011.
Parker earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Utah State in 2012 and a master’s degree in Education from Utah State in 2014.
