Father, David, joined the Shadow Ridge baseball staff as an assistant coach for his junior year. First career home run came as a senior in 2023 and was able to shake his dad's hand rounding third base which he cites as his favorite sports memory to date.
Father, David, appeared in seven MLB games (six with Houston in 2003, one with Anaheim in 2005). Homered in first MLB at bat. Was a sixth-round pick of Houston in the 1998 MLB Draft after a three-year career at Pepperdine from 1996-98. Hit .300 for his Waves career and was an All-WCC shortstop (honorable mention in 1996, first team in 1997). As a sophomore in 1997, led Pepperdine in home runs (11) and RBIs (50).

Off the field, enjoys bowling, golf and video games.
