Grand Canyon University follows the NCAA guidelines very seriously when relating to banned substances. Please visit the NCAA website to view the most updated list of banned substances. Testing positive will make you ineligible to compete for one calendar year and you will lose a minimum of one season of competition in all sports. For more information regarding the NCAA’s drug testing policy, enforcement, and procedures please visit the NCAA’s Drug Testing Program website.

Grand Canyon University’s drug testing policy allows the GCU athletic department to education, identify and counsel student athlete’s about substance abuse. By agreeing to the GCU drug testing consent program you are allowing GCU to conduct drug screenings following the GCU Intercollegiate Athletics Substance Abuse Education and Testing Program.
