Lopes to play 18 games in conference play
Grand Canyon women's basketball announced the upcoming 2026-27 Mountain West conference schedule today.
The 18-game slate begins Dec. 30 and ends March 2 prior to the Mountain West Championship in Las Vegas.

The squad's first conference game is on the road Wednesday, December 30 at San José State in San Jose, California. The new year rings in a road contest at Air Force January 2 before its first conference home game against New Mexico January 6.
The Lopes will play a home and away contest against each conference opponent. New opponents in the Mountain West this season include UC Davis, UTEP and Hawaii.
Returning teams include New Mexico, Wyoming, UNLV, San José State, Air Force and Nevada.
The final MW regular season matchup is March 2 at home versus Air Force. The Mountain West Championship is set for March 7-10 in Las Vegas at Thomas & Mack Arena.
