Grand Canyon sophomore
Jada Cooper earned her second Mountain West Player of the Week award after an unreal hitting week at Colorado State.

The first baseman reached base via hit and walk in all three games of the series, earning a .667 batting average and .846 on-base percentage last week.
Cooper hit two home runs and collected nine RBIs, walking seven times in the Lopes' three-game sweep. The highlight of her weekend came in the seventh inning of Game 2, when Cooper launched a go-ahead, one-out grand slam in the seventh for a one-run lead. Cooper homered again in the first inning of Game 3's run-rule win for the sweep.
The Houston native holds a .556 on-base percentage this season, thanks in part to her GCU all-time single season record of 45 walks. She also has been hit by pitch nine times.
Cooper finished the regular season with a team-best .379 batting average, 14 home runs and 57 RBIs. She ranks third all-time in the GCU Division I era in career home runs with 26. She helped break the Lopes all-time single-season team record as well, as Grand Canyon has powered 76 home runs so far this season.
The Lopes are 48-7 on the season with a 21-4 conference record that earned the Mountain West regular-season title and No. 1 seed in this week's MW Championship. The tournament takes place in Reno, Nevada, and the winner will represent the conference as its automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
