Multiple scenarios can earn the Lopes a MW Regular Season Title

Grand Canyon faces its final regular season test with a three-game series at Colorado State.

Grand Canyon holds a two-game lead on second-place Nevada with three games to go. A series win vs. Colorado State OR two Nevada losses at UNLV OR a win AND a Nevada loss clinches the outright MW Regular Season Title for the Lopes.
Sophomore right-hander Taryn Batterton won Mountain West Pitcher of the Week for week 12 after tossing six shutout innings over two appearances, going 1-0 with a save on the week. Batterton is 10-1 on the year with three saves, earning double-digit wins in back-to-back years.
The Lopes are No. 30 in the most recent RPI, with the program's highest ranking coming in at No. 27 three weeks ago.
Senior center fielder Sydney McCray has the most stolen bases in the nation without being caught (33/33), with the seventh-most swiped bags in the country. McCray is riding a four-game multi-hit streak.
Grand Canyon has the sixth-best winning percentage and are tied for third-most wins in the nation. GCU is No. 21 in the NFCA poll.

Thursday night marks the sixth meeting between GCU and Colorado State with the Lopes leading the all-time series 3-2. Grand Canyon beat the Rams at home in the last meeting, back in 2023.
The Rams are 23-24 (11-11 MW) on the season as they enter the final weekend of conference play. Colorado State is currently in fourth place and will clinch a spot in next week's MW Championship with one win or one San Diego State loss to Fresno State this weekend.
Colorado State is hitting .279 with a team ERA of 4.11.
Rams outfielder Lauren Stucky leads the team in hits (51) and on-base percentage (.463).

vs UNLV

GCU took two of three vs UNLV to clinch a top-two seed and bye in the first round of the Mountain West Championship.
In Game 2 of the series, GCU won 10-0 in run-rule fashion, earning their program-record 16th shutout.
Grand Canyon won on Sunday's Senior Day with senior Emily Gonzalez driving in two runs and senior Taryn Batterton earning the save.
