Quotable
GCU head coach
Bryce Drew: "We knew it had to start with our defense and even though they shot 49%, I thought our defense really contested things and made things hard for them. I liked our energy level for 40 minutes. Even when they had that run, I didn't feel a lapse in energy. We were giving our best on the defensive end."
What's next?
The Lopes' road swing continues with a Tuesday night game at San Diego State. The Lopes defeated the Aztecs (17-6, 11-2 MW) 70-69 on Jan. 21 in Phoenix.
