Holland signs pro contract with Leicester Riders

Former WAC Freshman of the Year is GCU's 3rd summer signee
Former Grand Canyon point guard Jada Holland is continuing her basketball career professionally with the Leicester Riders in England.
Holland spent her freshman and fifth-year seasons at GCU, averaging 10.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She recorded 316 points, 133 assists and 95 rebounds during the 2019-20 campaign, earning her WAC Freshman of the Year honors to be the first Lope to do so in the program's Division I era.
Founded in 2011, Leicester Riders joined the Women's National Basketball League in 2014-15.
Holland is the third Lope to sign a pro contract this year, joining twins Laura and Sydney Erikstrup, who signed with pro teams in Australia earlier this summer.

She spent her sophomore and junior seasons at UC Riverside before transferring to San Jose State her senior year. With another year of eligibility remaining due to COVID-19, Holland came back to GCU in 2023-24 and appeared in 23 games, dishing out a team-high 102 assists with 4.4 assists per game to rank third in the WAC.Founded in 2011, Leicester Riders joined the Women's National Basketball League in 2014-15.
