Grand Canyon trailed Stetson with 13 minutes remaining Tuesday night but then blew the game open with most of their scoring coming after that point for a 67-45 victory at Global Credit Union Arena.
The Lopes (5-3) used nine steals and shot 60% shooting after halftime to stave off a challenge from the Hatters, who posted the lowest GCU opponent scoring total since UT Rio Grande Valley lost 72-43 in February 2024.

Jaden Henley set career highs for points (26) and steals (six) with five assists being one off his career best. Henley made 9 of 16 shots from the field and all seven of his free throws. He also grabbed four rebounds in his 33 minutes with a plus-minus of plus-20.
Henley recorded 18 points, four assists and four steals in the second half to help the Lopes open its lead. All of his points came in the game's final 9:09.

Nana Owusu-Anane also set a career high with 15 rebounds and added 10 points.

After a shot clock-beating 3-pointer, Stetson was leading 32-31 with 13:04 remaining in the game. GCU then made four consecutive 3-pointers over about three minutes to lead 43-35 and continued to pile onto the lead with a 36-13 finish to the game.
