Tyler Wilson was named the WAC Hitter of the Week for the second time this season. Wilson was one of the Lopes' offensive leaders in a successful 4-0 week.

ilson hit 7 for 15 (.467) with two doubles, a triple, two homers, eight RBIs and six runs scored. He had 17 total bases on the week for a slugging percentage of 1.133.
Wilson is leading the Lopes with a .377 batting average, helping GCU to a seven-game win streak. During the week, the Lopes won four games including a midweek blowout of No. 21 Arizona and a three-game sweep of California Baptist.
The Lopes senior had three hits including a home run with four runs scored at Arizona on Tuesday. He was a single shy of the cycle.
Into the weekend, Wilson had a hit in every game including a grand slam on Saturday night. Wilson even snuck in a single and an RBI in Sunday's finale before exiting the game due to illness.
Wilson took home the honor for the second time this season, with the first honor coming after a three-game series to open WAC play at Stephen F. Austin.
GCU has four more home games this week against Washington and Abilene Christian to conclude the home slate.
