The bracket and GCU Softball Stadium are set for this week's WAC Tournament, which awarded the Lopes two rounds of byes in their quest to repeat as the tourney champs.

GCU will host the WAC Tournament, which begins Tuesday, for the first time since 2019 with hopes of claiming a title to secure a second consecutive NCAA tournament berth.
The Lopes (43-11, 29-6 WAC) earned the tournament's No. 2 seed by winning seven of eight conference series and ending the regular season on a five-game winning streak. Utah Tech (34-16, 19-5 WAC) is the No. 1 seed and enters the tournament on a six-game winning streak. GCU took two of three games against Utah Tech at home in April.
The Lopes will play their first game of the double-elimination tournament on Thursday at 10 a.m. against the winner of a 4 p.m. Wednesday game between No. 3 seed Stephen F. Austin (27-22, 15-9 WAC) and the 10 a.m. Wednesday winner of No. 6 seed Sam Houston vs. No. 7 seed UT Arlington.
The winner's bracket semifinal will be played at 1 p.m. Friday with the championship round taking place Saturday. The unbeaten winner's bracket team will have a chance to take the title at 1 p.m. If the loser's bracket team wins that game, the teams will play for the championship trophy and an NCAA tournament berth at 4 p.m. Saturday.
All games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
