The Lopes made two huge comebacks on the road, rallying from a 23-6 hole with a 15-0 run before taking a lead shortly before halftime. After getting behind again by nine points early in the second half, GCU retook the lead with 8:12 to go and never trailed again.

Liberty ranked 10th nationally with 11 made 3-pointers per game, but GCU held the Flames to 6-of-25 shooting from behind the arc Saturday. Liberty did not make a 3 in the final 15 minutes.

Sometimes it's difficult to watch when they're aggressive and make a bad decision and attack the rim hard, but that's also who we are.
