Ostlie knocks down 8 3-pointers as GCU wins 90-40
Four Grand Canyon players scored in double figures as GCU defeated Benedictine Mesa 90-40 in a Monday evening exhibition game at GCU Arena.

Lopes senior guard Anna Ostlie led all scorers with 26 points, knocking down eight 3-pointers while adding two rebounds and two assists. Senior teammate Tiarra Brown had 21 points with five rebounds while junior guard Trinity San Antonio scored 15 points and notched four rebounds, six assists and three steals. Graduate forward Laura Erikstrup had 12 points and seven rebounds, including four on the offensive glass.

The Lopes led for all but 30 seconds of the contest and saw an even scoring distribution with 38 points from starting lineup and 35 points from the bench. GCU finished 13th in the country last season with 26.7 bench points per game.

GCU begins the regular season on Monday, Nov. 6, at home vs. Saint Mary's.
