Grand Canyon men's basketball games will return to 1580 The Fanatic for the seventh consecutive year after GCU and CRC Broadcasting Company agreed to extend their radio partnership for the 2023-24 season.
The Lopes are coming off their second trip to the NCAA tournament in a three-year span, capturing the 2023 WAC Tournament championship.
"We're excited to be back with 1580 The Fanatic for the seventh straight season," GCU Vice President of Athletics Jamie Boggs said. "We strive to make our game broadcasts accessible for Lope Nation to follow along from anywhere. Our partnership with 1580 The Fanatic allows games to be heard on the airwaves locally as well as streaming all over the globe."
All games, home and away, can be heard on the AM (1580) and FM (99.3 and 95.9) dials in the Phoenix metropolitan area, as well as worldwide on 1580TheFanatic.com and the 1580 The Fanatic mobile app.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with GCU as the radio home for Lopes basketball," said Ron Cohen, GM of The Fanatic and President/CEO of parent CRC Broadcasting Company. "With the growing success of GCU's basketball program, we are ready to support the team and the fans this coming season."

GCU alumnus Michael Potter (pictured) returns for his 15th season calling the play-by-play action for all 30 regular-season games, one exhibition game, the 2024 WAC Tournament and postseason play. Potter is joined by Lopes Insider Paul Coro as an analyst for the sixth straight season.
Radio broadcasts will begin with a 15-minute pregame show featuring Lopes head coach
Bryce Drew. Postgame reaction will include interviews with Drew and a standout GCU player.
