Katelyn Dunckel were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's West Region teams. The West Region teams consisted of 13 players on each team, representing the WAC, Pac-12, Big West, Mountain West and West Coast conferences.

Nicoletti was named to the West Region first team, along with players from UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona, San Diego State and San Diego.

In her senior season, Nicoletti has led the Lopes in almost every offensive category, including batting average (.406), hits (71), runs (62), triples, (four) and walks (24). Nicoletti broke the GCU and WAC single-season stolen bases record with 51, which ranks second nationally for this season. She also is the Lopes career stolen base leaders with 90.Â

Dunckel earned a place on the West Region third team. The Lopes shortstop had an impressive first season with GCU at the plate. totaling a team-best 55 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .481. She also ranked second on the team in batting average (.403), hits, (62), runs (51) and home runs (7). On the dirt, Dunckel had a team-best 112 assists and totaled a .916 fielding percentage.Â
