ESPN2 to air Lopes' NCAA DI tourney debut

GCU faces national No. 5 seed UCLA on Friday night
The Grand Canyon softball team's NCAA Division I tournament debut against regional host UCLA will air on ESPN2 on Friday night.
The Lopes (39-14) follow a Division I-era program record for victories and WAC regular-season and postseason championships with a nationally televised game on Friday at 7 p.m. (Phoenix time). UCLA (43-8), a 13-time national champion, is hosting the four-team, double-elimination regional at Easton Stadium. The regional also includes Loyola Marymount (36-15) and Ole Miss (39-17).
The ESPN2 broadcast crew will be play-by-play announcer Trey Bender, a former Fox Sports Arizona and KTAR announcer, and analyst Kenzie Fowler, a former Arizona standout pitcher from Tucson.
