No. 7 GCU falls to Florida State 3-1 in Gulf Shores
GULF SHORES, Ala. – The No. 7 Grand Canyon beach volleyball team fell 3-1 in its first dual of the March to May tournament to No. 4 Florida State on Friday morning.

No. 7 GCU vs. No. 4 Florida State
The Lopes (8-3) dropped their first dual in Gulf Shores to the Seminoles (10-2), which ended when the dual was clinched, leaving Court 2 unfinished. On Court 4, junior Abbie Hughes and fifth year Dana Roskic collected GCU's only pair win as they defeated Florida State 21-19 in both sets.

Due to inclement weather, GCU's dual against No. 13 Georgia State originally scheduled for Friday at 2 p.m. (Phoenix time) has been postponed to Saturday morning at 5 a.m. (Phoenix time) before its duals against No. 11 Florida Atlantic and No. 5 LSU.
