The Grand Canyon softball team's fall schedule rolled on with a victory over Arizona State at GCU Softball Stadium on Wednesday night.
In a matchup of last season's WAC and Pac-12 conference champions, GCU flashed the power with three home runs in a 7-5 victory.

CC Wong started the scoring on the right foot with a first-inning, three-run homer. Wong made it a multi-homer game with a second homer — a two-run blast — in the third inning to stake GCU to a 5-1 lead.

Kinsey Koeltzow capped GCU's homers for the day with a two-run shot to put the Lopes in front 7-2.
The Sun Devils narrowed the margin with three solo homers to reach the final score of 7-5.
GCU's pitching staff combined to strike out seven Arizona State batters in seven innings.
The Lopes racked up 10 hits on the night.
Before another GCU-ASU matchup on Oct. 26 in Tempe, the Lopes'Â next scrimmage will be at home Saturday vs. Central Arizona at 10 a.m.
