7 Lopes earn All-WAC honors

Fifield, Nicoletti named 1st team with Denhart on 2nd team; 4 receive honorable mentions
Seven Grand Canyon softball players earned All-WAC honors, including two on the first team, one on the second team and four receiving honorable mentions.
GCU sophomore center fielder Kristin Fifield and junior left fielder Gianna Nicoletti were first-team selections by conference coaches. Lopes senior right-handed pitcher Ryan Denhart earned a spot on the second team. Freshmen shortstop Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage and pitcher Jacie Hambrick, senior first baseman Lilly Bishop and junior second baseman Savannah Tourville were honorable mentions.
Denhart received the All-WAC honor for the second consecutive time while Tourville also picked up her second postseason honor from the conference.
KRISTIN FIFIELD | All-WAC first team
Fifield has started all 47 games in center field for the Lopes this season. In her 147 at bats, the sophomore has totaled 50 hits, 16 of which were extra-base hits. Fifield leads GCU in multiple offensive categories: home runs (seven), RBI (32) and slugging percentage (.571). In WAC play, Fifield ranks fourth in the conference for home runs with five. She also has a team-best batting average of .385 in all 17 WAC games.
GIANNA NICOLETTI | All-WAC first team
Nicoletti, a Fullerton, California, native, has been the Lopes every-day left fielder and leadoff hitter for two consecutive seasons. The junior leads the Lopes at the plate in multiple categories: batting average (.358), hits (53) and runs scored (36). Nicoletti has stolen 27 bases this season to become the Lopes' Division I-era record holder for steals in a single season and for a career with 38.
RYAN DENHART | All-WAC second team
Denhart, a right-handed pitcher, has totaled a team-best eight wins in 19 starts for GCU this season. The senior from Los Alamitos, Califonia, has a team-best ERA of 3.49, throwing a staff high of 98 1/3 innings and making 24 appearances in the circle. Denhart has been the Lopes ace for three straight seasons and has proven that she is a true competitor. On the rubber, Denhart has thrown seven complete games and one shutout, along with earning two saves.
ANJOLEE AGUILAR-BEAUCAGE | All-WAC honorable mention
In her first season in a GCU uniform, freshman shortstop Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage impressed many around the conference. Aguilar-Beaucage started all 47 games at shortstop for the Lopes and has been a true impact player in the field and at the plate. The Tucson native hit a team-best 10 doubles and is tied for second on the team in RBIs with 23. Aguilar-Beaucage has been a consistent hitter, batting the same .318 average in WAC play and in nonconference action.
LILLY BISHOP | All-WAC honorable mention
Bishop has become the Lopes' biggest threat at the plate, hitting in the lineup's three and four spots on a regular basis. In her 44 starts this season, the Riverside, California, native has totaled 37 hits with nine of them going for extra bases (five home runs and four doubles). The senior is tied for second on the team in RBIs with 23. In WAC play, Bishop has started all 17 games at first base and hit .333 with three home runs and 11 RBIs.
JACIE HAMBRICK | All-WAC honorable mention
Hambrick, a reshman right-handed pitcher, has made quite the debut on the Lopes pitching staff. She has earned six wins in 22 appearances with 10 starts on the rubber. The Prescott Valley, Arizona, native has a team best opponennt batting average of .272 and leads GCU with strikeouts 67. In the WAC, Hambrick is tied for third in conference ERA at 2.78 and has a WAC-best average of 7.1 strikeouts per game.
SAVANNAH TOURVILLE | All-WAC honorable mention
Tourville, a native of Whitter, California, has shown her versatility in the infield for the Lopes with starts at first base, second base and third base this season. The junior also has been a threat at the plate, tallying eight doubles while hitting .352 and slugging .508 to rank second on the team. Tourville has started in all 47 games for GCU and leads the team with a .462 on-base percentage, thanks to walking 17 times and being hit by a pitch nine times this season. On the dirt, Tourville ranks second in fielding percentage (.973), third in double plays turned (six) and fourth in assists (35).
