GULF SHORES, Ala. – The No. 11 Grand Canyon beach volleyball team dropped its final match of the March to May tournament to No. 3 LSU 4-1.
Lopes fall to No. 3 LSU
The match began with LSU's No. 5 pair defeating freshman

Katie Sarber 21-14, 21-11.
On Court 4, freshman
Allanis Navas and graduate student
Paula Hoffmann moved to 10-0 after taking down LSU in three sets 21-18, 20-22, 15-7 to even the score.
Sophomore
Teagan DeFalco and junior
Bella Bauman fell on Court 1 12-21, 17-21.
LSU's No. 3 pair clinched the dual after freshman
Allison Hansen and junior
Taylor Jarzombek lost 16-21, 16-21.
The final match of the day went to the Tigers as GCU's No. 2 sophomore pair of
Anaya Evans and
Madi Relaz fell 17-21, 17-21.
Up next, the Lopes are back at home March 25-26 to host No. 19 Stanford, Arizona State and Utah. Senior Day will take place on Friday, March 26, before the Utah dual at 3 p.m.
