GCU Arena will host an ESPN national broadcast for the first time when Grand Canyon plays Tarleton on Jan. 15. The game will tip at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
"This is a great opportunity to shine the national spotlight on Grand Canyon University," Lopes head coach
Bryce Drew said. "Our program is excited to play in front of a national television audience and show off our Havocs and tremendous fan support."
Tip-off was moved from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to accommodate the telecast. Fans who have ESPNU as a part of their cable or streaming subscription can also watch the game on the ESPN app.
The WAC is in its first year of an expanded ESPN agreement that includes one televised regular-season game per season.
The Havocs will host their annual ElectroLope theme game on this night.
The game will not air on FOX 10 Xtra but will still feature radio coverage on 1580 The Fanatic (99.3/95.9 FM).
