The Grand Canyon men's basketball team added a back-to-back home series against Bethesda for Friday and Saturday to fill the scheduling void created by Chicago State's suspension of its season.
Coming off a pair of victories to open conference play, GCU will host the Flames on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3 p.m. (UPDATE on 1/11: Saturday tip time moved to 2 p.m.).
The Lopes previously were scheduled to host Bethesda on Dec. 30 before COVID-19 concerns forced the cancellation of the matchup.
Bethesda, a private Christian university in Anaheim, California, has faced a gauntlet of Division I opponents this season, including UC Irvine, Sacramento State, Cal Poly, UC Santa Barbara, CSU Bakersfield, Southern Utah and WAC member Dixie State.
The game will be available via the usual mediums for home games, including FOX 10 Xtra (Ch. 45/Cable 9), ESPN3, "GCU" on YouTube and 1580 The Fanatic (99.3 FM and 95.9 FM).
