GCU announces spring schedule

Lopes play 2 matches at GCU Stadium
The Grand Canyon women's soccer team will play four matches this spring with an eye toward developing for the fall season following a third straight appearance in the WAC Tournament.
Under new head coach Chris Cissell, the Lopes will kick off the spring on Feb. 29 with a home match against Ottawa at 11 a.m. The Lopes also will host Northern Arizona on March 29 at 6 p.m. at GCU Stadium, where admission is free for all spring matches.
GCU will travel out of state on March 7 with a neutral-site match against Weber State in Las Vegas at 6 p.m. The spring season will conclude with a trip to Tempe and a match against Arizona State on April 4 at noon. The Lopes and Sun Devils last met in 1996, the inaugural season for GCU women's soccer.
