The Grand Canyon softball team tabbed All-WAC honors for four players, including first-team selections for senior

Savannah Tourville and second-team honors for junior
Brianna Aguilar and sophomore

Smith's first-team honor is the third All-WAC nod of her career and marks the first time on the top team. Aguilar is a three-time All-WAC selection to the second team, while Lopes newcomers Tourville and Denhart claimed their first All-WAC honors.Â

Shea Smith, shortstop, first team
A native of Waddell, Arizona, Smith led the Lopes in average at a .401 clip (65-of-162) while tallying 42 runs, 23 RBI, nine doubles, one triple and four home runs on the season. Smith was 8 for 9 on stolen base attempts and held a slugging percentage of .543 in 52 starts for the Lopes.Â

In conference play, Smith held an average of .431 with 25 hits, 20 runs, six RBI, one double and one home run. She was 5 for 5 on the base paths and drew seven walks.Â

Savannah Tourville, second baseman, first team
Hailing from Whittier, California, Tourville was the top freshman for the Lopes with an average of .308 (44 for 143) while starting in all 52 games for GCU at second base. Tourville had a team-high 36 RBI, 26 runs, a team-best 12 doubles and seven home runs to hold a team-high .538 slugging percentage.Â

During WAC competition, Tourville held a clip of .353 and sent in a team-best 18 RBI on 18 hits, four doubles and two home runs.Â

Brianna Aguilar, right-handed pitcher, second team
A native of Tucson, Arizona, Aguilar (7-5) appeared in 24 games for GCU this season with a total of 81.1 innings. The junior held an ERA of 2.41 and held the opposition to an average of .261. She struck out 45 batters while walking just 15 on the year.Â

In conference play, Aguilar (4-2) dished one complete game no-hitter against Kansas City in the regular-season finale, while tallying 17 strikeouts in 10 appearances. She allowed just three earned runs for an ERA of 0.70.Â

Ryan Denhart, right-handed pitcher, second teamÂ
Hailing from Los Alamitos, California, Denhart (10-6) held the team's best ERA at 2.23 in 26 appearances for the Lopes. She tallied a team-best 59 strikeouts and held batters to an average of .227. Denhart dished eight complete games and a total of 110 innings.

In WAC play, Denhart (5-2) held an ERA of 1.54 in 50 innings pitched, allowing just 11 earned runs and striking out 28. She tallied just four walks and held batters to a team-best .186 average.Â
