Grand Canyon University is set to host the 2014 Fall Nike Championship Basketball Clinic from Sept. 19 -21, an event that is open to basketball coaches of all levels. The clinic is one of four this fall with the others being conducted at Archbishop Carroll High School in Philadelphia, Penn., Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. and Cuyahoga Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
The newly expanded Grand Canyon University Arena will feature a clinic that will highlight some of basketball's brightest minds, including Stanford's Tara Vanderveer, Boise State's Leon Rice and Kansas State's Bruce Weber.
Instruction will begin on Friday evening and run through Sunday afternoon and teach coaches such skillsets as Decision Making, Offensive Attack, Building a Championship Program among other instrumental coaching techniques.
