WAC Announces All-Academic Honors For 2013 Fall Sports

GCU student-athletes well-represented
Grand Canyon University student-athletes were recognized in the recent announcement of the Western Athletic Academic All-Conference team for the fall 2013 season. The Antelopes had nearly 40 student-athletes honored, including members of the men's and women's cross country teams, the men's and women's soccer teams, and the women's volleyball team.
In order to be awarded the distinction, student-athletes must have received a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or better throughout the course of at least one academic year and have competed in a minimum of 50 percent of their team's competitions during the season.
Freshmen are eligible for this award, but they will not be recognized until after the completion of the spring semester.
