GCU Ranked No. 5 in Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

Grand Canyon University is ranked No. 5 in the first winter Division II Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings, which were released earlier today.
The Antelopes moved into the top five after a fourth-place finish in men’s swimming & diving, seventh in wrestling, eighth in men’s indoor track & field, 10th in women’s swimming & diving and 18th in women’s indoor track & field.
GCU’s combined 344.50 points in this winter session were second only to Ashland (OH), who finished with 346.50 points.
Grand Canyon climbed up 67 spots after being ranked No. 72 after the fall standings were released.
The final Division II winter standings will be released on March 31.
