GCU Splits Doubleheader with Dixie State

The Grand Canyon University softball team, ranked No. 3 in the NCAA Division II West Region poll, split a doubleheader with Dixie State College today in St. George, Utah. The Red Storm won the first game 5-2 and the Antelopes won the second 8-7, snapping an eight-game losing streak to Dixie State.
GCU improved to 34-9 overall, 15-7 in the Pacific West Conference. Dixie State is 22-11, 11-5.
The Red Storm had five errors in the second game.
