The Grand Canyon University women's soccer team, ranked No. 9 in the West Region in the official NCAA Division II poll, lost 1-0 in overtime to Notre Dame de Namur University in the Pacific West Conference game today at Koret Field in Belmont, Calif.
The Antelopes dropped to 9-5-1 overall, 7-4-1 in the PacWest. The Argonauts improved to 7-7-2, 5-5-2.
Midfielder Samantha Paetz scored on a header in the 99th minute off of a cross from forward Sarah Biser for the game's only goal.

Stephanie Phillips (Tempe, AZ/Corona del Sol, Washington State University) played all 99 minutes and recorded three saves. NDNU keeper Kelsey Baxter also played the entire game and had 15 saves.
The 'Lopes had a whopping 29-8 advantage in shots in the game, as well as a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.
Thirty-two fouls were called, 24 of which were on GCU, including four in overtime.
Only one yellow card was issued, to Argos forward Alexis Tershay.

GCU has just two regular-season games left this season, against Chaminade (2-10-0, 2-8-0) on Wednesday and Friday at the GCU Soccer Field. Both games kick off at 8 p.m.
