Lady Lopes slip to 7th at Greater Ozark Invite; Bolton 6th

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Grand Canyon women's bowling team fell one spot into seventh place at the Greater Ozark Tera Bolton has three 200-plus gamesInvitational hosted by Central Missouri State. The Antelopes went 0-5 Saturday in team match play.

GCU's Tera Bolton (pictured) was in sixth place individually after averaging a 197.4. She bowled games of 217, 215 and 213 as part of a five-round day. Bolton's 217 is a team high this year. Her three 200-plus games are the most on the team at a tournament this year.

Amanda Ailport found herself in 16th place after averaging 178.4. She had a high game of 214, which bested her previous team high of 192 set a week earlier at the Arkansas State event.

Vanderbilt occupied the top three individual spots with Brittni Hamilton leading after putting together a 207.6 average. Vanderbilt was tops in the team match play after producing a 4,908 pinfall and going 3-2. Arkansas State was second with a 5-0 record and 4,644 pins.
