Men's Basketball Student-Athlete (1971-72, 1973-76)
Rochester, New York native David Everett was affectionately known as "The Raven" during his playing career at Grand Canyon. He Co-Captained teams on which he played three of the four season he played at Canyon. After an injury-shortened first season, he returned for three seasons as a playmaking guard that helped guide the 'Lopes to record-setting seasons from 1973-76. His on-court leadership was evident as Canyon went 85-8 over his last three campaigns. Selected First-Team All-American in 1976.
