Jones Named PacWest Player of the Week for Fourth Time

Helped guide 'Lopes to 2-0 week in PacWest play
Grand Canyon University women’s basketball junior guard/forward Judy Jones was named Pacific West Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for games contested Jan. 7-13. This is the fourth weekly award for Jones this season.
Jones helped lead the Antelopes to a 2-0 record last week, which included their double-overtime thriller at Dixie State on Jan. 10 and a victory over Fresno Pacific on Jan. 12. She posted 20.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game, while also averaging 4.5 steals last week.
Among all PacWest players last week, Jones ranked second in steals per game, tied for fourth in rebounding and fifth in scoring. She also shot 50.0 percent (12-for-24) from the field during those two contests.
